Privacy policy
Last updated October 21, 2026
Any War is a squad tactics game. It has no accounts, no advertising and no analytics, and we do not run a server that receives anything about you. This policy explains the few times the game talks to the internet.
What stays on your device
Your progress, settings, unlocked battles and purchase status are stored on your iPhone or iPad. We can't see them. Deleting the app removes them.
Anywhere on Earth
When you search for a place to fight over, the name you type is sent to OpenStreetMap's place search (Nominatim) to find it. The game then downloads the map data for that area from OpenStreetMap's public map servers (Overpass) and satellite imagery tiles from Esri. Those requests contain the place or map area you chose and the normal technical details of any internet request, such as your network address. They contain no name, account or identifier from us. These services are run by others under their own privacy policies.
The historic battles play offline and send nothing.
Multiplayer
Online play uses Apple's Game Center. Apple matches you with an opponent and carries the game moves between the two devices. Your Game Center name is shown to your opponent. Game Center is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
Purchases
Purchases and free trials are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your card details or Apple ID. The game only learns whether a purchase is active.
What we never do
- No accounts and no sign-in.
- No advertising, analytics or crash-reporting tools.
- No tracking across other apps or websites.
- No selling or sharing of personal information.
Children
Any War is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Significant changes will also be shown in the app.
